Several NFL fans poked fun at the disgraced Antonio Brown this Halloween by dressing up as Antonio the Clown.
“I wanted to be a clown this year @AB84,” Sophie Pulaski tweeted on the holiday, with a photo of herself in the wide receiver’s former Steelers jersey and clown makeup.
That drew a response from the unemployed seven-time Pro Bowler, who has been all over social media since being cut by the Patriots in November amid two different sexual misconduct allegations.
“U nailed it,” Brown replied to the tweet.
Steelers fans have no sympathy for the disgruntled 31-year-old, who forced his way out of Pittsburgh last offseason, only to cause an off-the-field circus in Oakland. He ended up in New England, but was cut after just one game as his future in the league remains uncertain despite an eagerness to get back on the field.
Brown didn’t seem as amused when one parent — user @staci2023 — tweeted the day after Halloween that her 12-year-old son planned his own costume this year: a Brown Steelers jersey with a clown mask.
“Nice condolence but holloween (sic) over,” Brown responded.
